Texas A&M Changing Reveille
Texas A&M May Soon Have a Mixed Breed for it's Mascot. Texas A&M, long one of the most traditional schools out there may soon have a mixed breed instead of a collie for its mascot. Reveille VII will be retired after this year. Most new Reveille's don't even bring up a discussion about breed, but it's a new day for A&M, where many believe that a dog from the shelter should get a chance. As blasphemous as this sounds it won't break any new records. Even the original Reveille was a dog that had been hit by a car and rescued by Corp boys. Most of the following Reveille's picked by Company E-2 have been collies. Soon the choice will be made...will a collie or a mixed breed be the next mascot? Only time will tell! |
